One year later -
Patient sees an abnormal skin lesion on his face. Patient thinks to himself...what was the name of that website for booking doctor's appointments? Oh hell I forget. Does a Google search instead for "dermatologists near me". First result in Google = NOT 1stavailable.com.au
What 1stAvailable's Actual New Patient Strategy Should Be -
1. Patient sees an abnormal skin lesion on his face
2. Patient does a Google search for "dermatologists near me"
3. 1stAvailable appears at the top of Google's search results
4. Patient books appointment through 1stAvailable
5. Doctor/Practice is happy for the new referral + patient is happy with simple booking system
Repeat the above for 1,000s of long tail search terms where the patient is in the stage of being ready to book an appointment.
How is the above not considered quality traffic. All new patients could be considered random patients. It's the treatment they receive at the initial consultation which will determine whether or not they come back.
