Believe it or not, Fat Harry had the pleasure to be invited to work in Japan back in '97 (no, NO! not as a Sumo Wrestler!). He very much agrees with your "essence of honour" theory.
He was lucky enough to dine in a restaurant that specialised in eel...and had been serving eel for over 300 years...run by the same family...and supplied by the same families of fishermen for 300 years.
There is a depth of "loyalty" between suppliers and consumers not even dreamed of in Australia.
It is VERY hard to break into business in Japan. It helps to have something unique, so that you are not upsetting established customers.
Perhaps that is what Anteo has?
We await the next "nibble" at the bait.
