The banks won't be putting money in a uranium mine expansion if they didn't believe the outlook for the uranium market is robust. The share market still appears to be treating uranium stocks with distaste. We need some sort of catalyst to get the share price back on track. Maybe a new and improved reactor design? Or perhaps just a realisation that history has had more oil spills than nuclear meltdowns, and while both are undoubtedly catastrophes, people are still using oil. Everything has risks, and if poor management and poor emergency planning don't make the technology itself any more dangerous.
