He may do a good job, so I may have been harsh, however he was not even in the Finance group of OZL which makes it a bit strange.
The big question is on the CEO, interim and long term.
THe CEO will have to stand up to AM and others who may wish to strip OZL of assets, staff and IP.
With respect to AM's original appointment, I think he is clearly an intelligent man, but probably not suited to running a public listed company. His interview suggested as such. He is more comfortabe dealing with a boss of a private company with capital rather than having to arrange fund raisings either in the share market or from banks. These were OH's strengths.
I hope the board has learnt to appoint a CEO with the approriate experienece and skills, although having to do caopital raisings in the short term may not be a consideration with the cash kitty expected.
