Exactly right, my understanding is a CEO, who is also a director, is an MD. I think the terms just get confused, mostly because people are just so used to the title CEO.

Colin played quite the role in getting XAM to where it is. Based on the set stratgey then, it seems this latest news indicates the new MD believes the prerequisites have now been met. I can't imagine a Director would come to focus on one company (by becoming MD whilst sitting on other boards) without being confident that the deposit will be developed.
