I don’t know how good she was as a geologist. But she was crap as a CEO. Her ineptitude was evident in multiple areas…..with regard to poorly managing our Senegal partners especially Woodside who could have been a valuable funding ally, inability to farm down our Senegal exposure to make funding more manageable. And perhaps the worse and most unforgivable ineptitude was not raising capital to shore up our balance sheet when the the share price was near 14c (pre consolidation). Everyone knew at that time that we were heading for FID. The stock was liquid and well bid. It was obvious to raise capital but she didn’t do it and I can only speculate that she was gambling on bambo being a gusher and not a dry well. If so that was unforgivable gamble.
