clearly the firing of Cath, and the content of the PR, is highly confirmatory of what I am trying to get accomplished. while it doesnt totally preclude some of the concerns Martian mentioned, it certainly makes it much harder to see them occurring. The Chairman is on the tape talking about a 'transition period' to 'maximize' the per share value for shareholders.' this language almost directly recalls the language in the Target Statement, and given the lack of another new hire at MD, suggests strongly this is basically a <12mo liquidation.
frankly i should have added to my position at 75-76c this morning (that was a mistake, not doing so) because the 9-12mo IRR from here, even to a $1 minimum return, is very strong, and i believe today's announcement significantly derisks the proposition.
