    rather than AG taking a geological view of Bambo - which I doubt they have the technical ability to do so given they are a general fund manager - I suspect they just used the increased liquidity at the time of drilling as an opportunity to reduce their significant position in FAR.

    AG had such a large position in FAR and the trading volumes had otherwise dried up that AG faced no real exit strategy unless they used liquidity events when they could to cycle shares off their books.

    AG oroginally invested in FAR becoming an oil producer - so when FAR lost SNE and became an oil explorer instead - that wouldnt have suited AG's risk tolerances or investing strategy and they needed to get out with whatever they could carry with them
