I am not sure how many oil discoveries for sale there are around the world that are close to production, are only going for say $50million and just so happen to be looking for a minnow equity partner that won't bring anything else to the table.
Plenty of oil companies are making a bonza of cash at the moment and would be able to outbid/outcompete with FAR.
You are dreaming if you think FAR should do effectively what Karoon did.
The difference being Karoon had a lot more cash and bought at the trough - not the peak.
I am not sure how many oil discoveries for sale there are around...
