Certainly not peanuts. Honestly, I am staggered at this pay deal for the CEO. She might be a capable energy/mining sector commercial business leader, but that bears little resemblance to a CEO job in this sector.
Hey, she might be great, smash goals and get the sp to .20. But she has no track record to say she has form in doing this sort of thing. I would have thought a cash-starved minnow with a helluva lot of redeeming to do would have been able to negotiate a deal that costs a lot less in the short term, but offers her the opportunity to make her a squillion if she gets it right.
Frankly, IMHO, the balance of this pay deal is right out of whack.
Hayes on the other hand...I think he's the unsung aussie bio find of the year and will be worth every penny.
Perhaps, based on what he knew as a NED, he has a plan to make this thing fly? Maybe thats why Steph agreed to chuck her day job and sign up for a lucrative number that needs someone with a commercial legal background?
At .041, and with $5m raised at .04, perhaps its worth a punt?
