Thats a lot to inject into the coffers a year or so early, a lot can happen between now and then..

Considering the last 4 months of broker data tells me that non retail brokers are soaking either for clients and/or own capital... retail brokers are the majority of negative net value transactions, I’d speculate those converting were “advised” it was a good idea to do so now..

Still why now?
They would still get the benefit of any appreciation any time into the future.
Surely the most obvious reason is to be able to take the profits now and sell the shares soon after conversion?
Or could be a tax thing or other motive
