Read the Application for Quotation of Securities and you will see the options were issued as part of BET's employee incentive scheme.
5.5m were issued to Key Management Personnel and the 5.6m balance must have been issued to other staff.
I'm not sure when they were issued but given the expiry date is 31/12/2022 I would guess they were issued 2-3 years ago?
