Shanghai Electric say their drying method uses approx 6kwh of electricity to dry one tonne of lignite. SE describe this level of emissions as acceptable and in line with their sustainability policies.

The maddingley pellet process uses 113kwh of electricity to produce one tonne of lignite and is described by the Co as being a zero emissions process. What the?
