I think the tax loss selling period has been weighing heavily on this stock. We should get some analyst re-ratings and some buying come through once June is behind us.
I think this is a good solution in the current environment as EXG retain 100% ownership but reduce Capex significantly and halve the time needed to get into production. They still maintain upside in the way of new discoveries and also in the gold price as this is not a profit share (toll treating) arrangement but an ore purchase agreement where EXG retain all profits after costs
