My understanding is that for big trials getting sample can be a big factor in how quickly you can complete the study so if you can use new and old samples it makes it easier.
The big news for us is we can use serum or plasma both in studies and real world.
The fact we can’t use old samples may slow us down at research stage but in real world it won’t matter because that’s all fresh samples .
It was really important they got all of this established before they embarked on the bigger studies.
I was happy with the outcomes and shows they are methodically thinking it through . As well we have SB2m progressing towards a test kit and ENT progressing towards commercialisation.
