AZY have declared an Au Equivalent resource of 3,748 Koz across all its tenements (net to AZY after allowing for JV interests). I like AZY and its potential but the fact is that it is currently selling for exactly the same price that I paid for my initial investment in 2017.

Using capital cost figures from the Scoping Study for establishing a mine and processing at Minyari, the EV to Resource ratio comes in at $90/oz which is OK but not cheap once the forward risks are recognised. This is why AZY want to increase the Minyari resources so that the economics look better before they start seeking finance. After all, a SS typically has a 35% error and the final costs are almost always is on the upside of the SS, especially in a time of high inflation.
