I think it is aimed at their JV partners. IMO AZY think they are onto something special at Minyari and will drill the shite out of it quick smart. If it is good then a MC of say 500 mill will make world of difference if indeed they want to stay in Citadel.
A MUCH more effective cap raise at that level. This would make things really tricky for RIO for if AZY could match them dollar for dollar and much more expensive to takeover.
So minyari is the key. RIO knows it and has upped the stakes. AZY is saying we have a rabbit in the hat so it will cost you.
