As a rule of thumb, it cost between US$30-60 to find an ounce of gold. An additional 300,000 ounces was found. DTR did not spend US$9m to find it.

I think there are a lot of people that just expected things to happen faster and are bailing because they don't want to wait any longer.

Management probably can't believe their luck, the company is worth less today than it was worth when they didn't have a gold resource, and management get to buy a whole lot of stock cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if the shortfall is taken up by the management's inner circle of investors.

Every time this stock trends lower, Management do a rights issue and participate. I wonder if they gauge market sentiment by reading the HC posts??
