    From a Western countries perspective, poor health insurance coverage is mainly a hot topic in the USA and not as much a problem in Australia, UK, EU etc. The US Medicare system often gets a bad press, but at the same time the USA has historically, and empirically, been the leader in drug development. I can't help but think this is in part thanks to its IP protection laws. But it's a complex topic.
