I guess the "retina in a dish" update imminently will be the true indication of wheater we need a back up plan or not. One would think if that test shows efficacy against intended target then it should be clear sailing into trials assuming tox can be shown to be acceptable. One would think even with tox surely the limeted target area of within the eye would help. The question of the platform and other indications is still a whole other field i feel, but the fact they are looking into DMD and possibly still imyc shows we have multiple paths in play.
The other thing that is a major change, at least in my view is they just gained massive finance, yet they are still keeping us updated. Previously they would ramp up info into the cr, then just disappear for another year or two. This ay least has the feeling they are not happy to spin the wheels, they actually want to achieve what they have suggested
