Your thread Knowhere Man reminded me of the conversation I had with the worlds largest producer Barrick gold's ex Vice President Geologist who really felt another major world find in the gold fields was a strong possibility.
We are now holding the best leases in the NE gold fields, and also let's remind ourselves of an important fact which I did post just after we listed.
This was the report in 2010 by Australian Government Geoscience on predictive mineral discovery of Archean gold mineral systems in the eastern Yilgarn Craton.
The exciting news was and now more than ever is, and I quote "The map has successfully predicted most of the known major gold deposits and is a positive test of the mineral systems understanding."( See the map online )
The map spoken of highlights deposits throughout the gold fields including of course the super pit and down to Norseman.
For all our interest it shows Leonora with > 200 tonnes Au.
It's only a matter of time!
