Watch out for this unfolding story coming into the markets gaze come the end of this month. Latin American contagion is a potential risk here if Argentina decides to default. Doubt Argentina is going to capitulate to the will of one hedge fund manager. Just goes to show how absurd the financial system is when the will of one man "Paul Singer" could potentially bring an entire nation into default. IMO he should be trying to wring out a deal with the other creditors who accepted a hair cut back in 2001, as they have the most to lose if Argentina goes into default (that is apart from the Argentinian people themselves).
