If SBM had wanted someone on the board, they'd have probably pushed for it last year. At the time I thought that the decision not to do so may have signalled they were mulling a full takeover offer. Got that wrong for sure....
Anyway, I hope he can have some impact in getting Kin out of deep-freeze
The consolidation seems to be coming. Genesis takes control of Dacian, then merges with SBM. The newly combined company looks for more ounces around Leonora. Could be good for Kin? Or might not be as two potential bidders just became one?
