I don't doubt for a minute that this stock is an extremely appealing acquisition prospect to many of the big bios. But you're dead right. Off the present base, factoring in a 2 x premium we're still only looking at a about a dollar.

However given the size of the investment that would be needed i'd say avx is still seen as too risky as an acquisition prospect at this stage. I would think however that providing the next batch results are as we would expect ( +ve) this will certainly change.
