    It seems like WKT could announce that they'd found a 20kg gold nugget on the tenement and Spid would find a way to make it a negative.

    It's just good business IMO that if BMCG don't believe the funding is needed, better to withdraw and actually used elsewhere. Stale funds is wasteful funds.
