I agree with your odds (50:50) but not the roulette analogy.
A bet on red on the roulette wheel returns 1 bag if red comes up.
A bet on "red" with Hazer if it comes up, is in my view a 10 bag proposition or more.
You have to accept that holding long is more a bet than an investment though.
If you want to wait for a $50M MC, you'll never get a bet on. Too many smart people like the odds way better than you do.
