I'm not sure what they have done drilling wise and what has or hasn't come to the surface, but from having been in that part of the world in winter, I can say that it would be a prick of a place to stay out in the cold with a decent wind chill factor whilst drilling.
I've often wondered about why they never went to the extent of the western side, although I did read some of the land in the area had a pending Indigenous claim on either the forestry's land or some part of the western side of the lease. Can't really remember now but it was something along those lines that made me think they didn't want to go there until it was sorted out.
