Could be plenty of reasons - some of which are:

Potentially the same reason that Gold Fields exited all exploration in NSW (and MAG acquired their portfolio)?

Change in priorities?


Gold price crashed to the $500's?

Copper price crashed to the 70c's?

All of the projects seem to have been explored by multiple Majors (ie. Newcrest, Gold Fields, and others at MAG's projects, same as at Boda and other targets - ie. multiple Majors saw big potential in MAG's projects).

We all also know that you can drill and miss the big one by just meters (ie. Ridgeway).

That is especially true for Kingswood as these Northparkes-style porphyries are thin/pipe-like but extend a lot vertically - ie. pencil/finger porphyries have a small footprint and are hard to find, but once found are worth a lot (and come in clusters) (like Northparkes down the road).

Drilling starting shortly and Adam seems super confident, going off that Gold Events presso - see what they dig up.
