Hey Cam,
at a guess... it was mostly infill drilling and... whilst the infill overall looks the goods, it... can be argued that it's nothing 'new'
Though as I touched on earlier, the working in the announcement bodes well for the upcoming MRE update for Pepper. I mean Pepper is already high grade. My very simplistic view is that two of the holes were on the edges of the current MRE, which may see a small increase in ounces, in conjuncture with an increase in grade. We will see of course.
Quite interesting to see how SPR is choosing to present the results, compared to late last year.
First glance gives me the impression that NN and Pepper are... for all intensive purposes are joined at the hip!
Also fairly brutal on Freak, but... I have a feeling that is a tiny bit of RMS' conservative, ah... personality layering on top of SPR views (which I think is fine until they have something better in regards to Freak anyway).
Nice to have a clear statement on what they believe is achievable over the medium term for future production, though I guess Sly Fox needs more drilling to ensure it becomes a 5th option (3rd and 4th are FP & WW).
Would be great for future drilling to have success with Freak, as really, any extra high grade ore discovered at this point, is likely more to do with bulking up a LOM plan, versus increasing overall production rates (particularly in the near term). I am happy to see the Geo team are not holding back at testing for further look-a-like structures (ie. copies of NN or Pepper). Though I guess we have to wait a little longer before they test further along from Freak?
As for West Winds, it would seem a reserve is now a clear goal. Though I would have appreciated more clarity on Four Pillars, but perhaps that will only come once they have results to discuss?
Guess it's sort of slow and steady with Sly Fox... Though again, like WW, an increase in the MRE seems likely.
Lots more drilling to come from the 3 surface rigs in the near term. Hopefully in the coming months, we will get a final update on the overall exploration program, gold camp wise, as they were drilling almost 6km to the north at Golden wings not so long ago.
@Fisher85 - I cannot deny there is a chance we won't see a study, though I am confident about an updated MRE by June.
Now that RMS/SPR are joined at the hip, clear as day, RMS upcoming quarterly and.. perhaps production update are going to to be a major catalyst for share price moves. Both companies are now ramping up exploration across the their assets..... a good time to be doing a lot of drilling whatever happens.
