Nice video thanks. In February 1962, three international mining companies: the British-owned Consolidated Goldfields (Aust) Pty Ltd, Cyprus Mines Corporation of Los Angeles and Utah Construction & Mining Company of San Francisco, formed Mount Goldsworthy Mining Associates (GML).
I'm not sure BHP ever mined the original pit. I do remember a lot of talk about Utah though. I have many fond memories working for Goldsworthy mining company back in the eighties. Nice video in the day's of no BS wokeness red tape and social engineering in the workplace.
