So, a school kid on a weekend walk picked some dirt and took it home to mum. As part of a school homework program she put some figures on the plastic bags of dirt and sent it of to school. The adventurous kid
gets good marks for his homework on the history of a gold mining town called Charters Towers.
The teacher is happy, Mum is happy and the kid is over the moon after all because he was just going for walk
and grabbed some dirt and took it home. I bet you a pound to pick of shit that you could go anywhere in and around Charters Towers and get a colour or two in you pan. Maybe we all should get job with CTO as consultants and get paid to go and find gold in a gold bearing area that is close to town and the odd pub. After all we will need a refresher after a 100 yards walk. At least CTO put out an announcement so we have to thankful for the humour that it provides.
