What do you think of these quotes in recent announcements from ODN...keeping in mind that the Cooper Basin is not that far away & they are cashed up.

From an announcement where they pulled out of a deal in the Cooper. Dated 1st Oct 2008.

"Odin Energy is focused on oil and gas exploration and developments in the Cooper Basin of South Australia. The company is focused on unlocking the value in the Cooper Basin by acquiring strategic assets. The company is earning a 25% interest in the Spinal Block of PEL 106 through the acquisition of the Spinel 3D Seismic Survey and the contributing 50% of the cost of drilling 4 wells. The company is continuing to evaluate further opportunities in the area."

& from 27th Oct 2008.

"Odin Energy is pleased to announce it has finalised the sale of its stake in Victoria Petroleum NL for total proceeds of $9.8 million, and at a profit of $1.475 million. This gives the Company a cash asset backing of 9 cents per share. Mr Alex Bajada and Mr Anthony Short have today resigned from the Board of Victoria Petroleum NL."
