It's been a great 12 months or so market wise, so early July can see selling for those that wish to delay and roll profits into the new financial year.

Early July can offer good buying opportunities from those that wish to delay their capital gains.

Keep in mind there would still be plenty of holders in profit from CHK!

This is also why, shares aren't necessarily sold down at end of financial year, due to capital gains and the 12 month capital gain offset.
