An excellent pick up. These grants are highly competitive so it was a good result. I had a look at the Accelerated Discovery Initiative website and the applicants need to go through multiple stages to get grant funding approved starting with a detailed Expression of Interest (EOI) and then additional stages which narrow down the field to the final successful grantees. The maximum for any one application was listed at $300,000 so Cohiba got close to the maximum amount for a single grant. The grants are done on a dollar for dollar basis which means that a total of $600,000 will be spent (at least) at the Pernatty C area to satisfy the conditions of this grant.
