Do you realise that the drilling is to explore ? to search? expecting some fail while drilling is very common and much expected, the share market did react, this is life on the share market. People buy that sort of stock by expectation, price rise because of it, then it readjust when result are not as....expected.......but that doesn't mean that CHK is a bad stock....
You need to be prepare to have that type of volatility if you want to invest in that type of stock.
