yes 1 tonne of coal will produce approx 1.5 barrels of diesel. it sells at a premium to crude.
you may not get much change from AUS$95 billion (conservitively aus$90/b) rather than your $45 billion.
costs approx $25 per barrel to produce.
so at current market prices use $65 (90 - 25) nett of costs.
the project would produce a total EBITDA of $67 billion over its life.
