Nope, I haven't suffered with CDU. Like a vulture, I gained from the carcass a couple of years ago. Pure entertainment. However, that's not what I'm about here. I've mined North Qld and have family stations there, so it's my part of the world. Consequently, this lot interest me. Not the least for the strange conversations I had over time with deLacy some years ago when I was running a not insignificant show in the region.
The Valuation? Nope. Not what I'd do, but if these things ever head to court, that's up to the QC. NOTE FOR THOSE FROM NQ: the previous sentence was demonstrative (a big word). It does not reflect fact.
IN MY VIEW (note to those from NQ), the "Valuation" lacks Recent Transaction information. Absolutely essential in this instance, IN MY VIEW. This is the sort of 'One Man Band" valuation that I see all the time, that the Melbourne QC's slaughter, if it ever comes to it. There's been no attempt to discount for confidence in Resource classification, but I don't necessarily disagree with the marginal valuation technique. But then, what would I know?
Anyway, a few minutes looking at that wonderful thing, The Internet, using dates around those nominated, and I come up with far different transactional values for tin in the ground. . .
