    Hotcopper Catalyst email from yesterday:

Pacifico Minerals Limited (ASX: PMY) is in the midst of a diamond drilling campaign in a world class base metal district in Australia’s Northern Territory.

Whilst PMY has several projects on the go across Australia and as far away as Colombia, its central focus is on progressing the Borroloola West Project which is prospective for several base metals.

PMY has just launched a 1,500 metre five-hole diamond drilling campaign at its Borroloola West project, hunting for a smorgasbord of metals including cobalt, zinc, copper and silver, across a suite of pinpointed targets.

This micro cap stock’s JV partner in this project is the $1 billion capped Sandfire Resources – who is obviously very curious to find out the results of this drilling campaign too and is contributing its own share (49%) of exploration costs.

In just weeks, assay results will be released for diamond drilling program at its Coppermine Creek, Mariner and Berjaya operations, within the Borroloola West Project in the NT.

PMY’s is exploring in an impressive postcode, neighbouring £49 billion-capped London-listed Glencore’s McArthur River Mine.

PMY is in a joint venture arrangement with the heavy-hitting, $1 billion-capped Sandfire Resources (ASX: SFR).

    The Expectation
Following the upcoming assay results, aircore drilling that is planned to commence at Lorella should PMY see positive results from metallurgical testwork. Then, in the third quarter, an update is due assessing the potential copper oxide ore resources with metallurgical testwork on Lorella Copper oxide material.

That’s a significant amount of news expected just out of PMY’s Borroloola West Project.

Borroloola West Project is the primary focus at the moment, but PMY has several other irons in the fire in Australia and overseas in Colombia that could also create potential catalysts in the near future.

All up, this means there is a huge volume of news due to flow in over the coming twelve months… including plenty of catalysts to draw investors’ attention and potentially raise its $3.7 million market cap.
