No. of shares means nothing. Market Cap is all that matters really, If MC doubles i would expect SP to double this is how it works. Only when there is a dilution of more share is where SP changes analogous to printing money.
So as long as Steve grows MC of company with Li discoveries (This is a huge good chance upside) next years dilution's means nothing.
