Maybe consider these:
* The breakdown of the Lithium Oligopoly, "Big Three" lithium producers, SQM, FMC, and Albemarle.
* Supply/Demand balance has changed/is changing, causing the additional need for Lithium
* Elon Musk/Tesla and other large users of Lithium causing a change in the Price elasticity of demand leading to the increase in the price of Lithium
* The Lithium brine extraction technologies have improved
* Increase in demand, lower capital cost requirements and improvements in extraction efficiencies
Just a start, but maybe it will help with understanding the dynamics. IMHO
