Simon is a smart man to focus on de-risking.
Legacy issues are still not completely gone from investors/financiers' memories.
Financing terms/options will improve as the confidence and economics of the project improve.

Optionality is the name of the game, and they are building up quite the war chest of options with 5 deposits now certain to lock in increasing mineral inventories (Never Never, Four Pillars, West Winds, Sly Fox and Boomerang).
