If gold was any more buoyant it would be helium. And with the collapse of the nickel and lithium sectors in WA there are thousands of mine workers looking for jobs and mining service outfits with time on their hands. Now should be salad days for well endowed goldies like Spartan. As most painfully highlighted by the lithium sector of late no one knows how long conditions will be so good for. To use another Shakespearean classic:
"There is a tide in the affairs of gold companies Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune; Omitted, all the voyage of their life Is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat; And we must take the current when it serves, Or lose our ventures.”
