Have been looking at the statistics of when St George has made announcements to the market. (Lots of crappy winter weather in Victoria, plenty of time to do this type of thing)

Anyhow here what I've found from my research for those that like statistics. The figures would be 99.9% accurate.

Since St George's 2010 listing, they have put out a total of 408 announcements to the market up to 12th July 2016. Of these 213 were price sensitive.

Those being:- year / total / price sensitive :-

2010 / 31 / 5
2011 / 62 / 21
2012 / 39 / 22
2013 / 50 / 33
2014 / 73 / 40
2015 / 101 / 61
2016 / 52 / 31

Here's the breakdown on the day of the week the announcement were released and the percentage chance of a release on that day of the week next to the figure.

Monday :- 75 or 18.38% Approx.
Tuesday :- 71 or 17.40%
Wednesday :- 96 or 23.52%
Thursday :- 80 or 19.60%
Friday :- 86 or 21.07%

Here's a breakdown of the 213 price sensitive announcements that were included in the overall total, and percentage chance of release on that day of the week.

Monday :- 46 or 21.59% Approx
Tuesday :- 39 or 18.30%
Wednesday :- 54 or 25.35%
Thursday :- 41 or 19.24%
Friday :- 33 or 15.49%

St George has had Eleven (11)Trading Halts since listing. Here's the list:-

Thursday:- 31-03-11 - BHP Farm-in Agreement
Thursday:- 11-10-12 - CR
Friday:- 19-10-12 - Drilling Results
Monday:- 29-04-13 - CR
Wednesday:- 27-11-13 - CR

Based on all those stats, were most likely to get a price sensitive announcements on a Wednesday and the best chance of a Trading Holt for drilling results on a Friday.

So a good announcement tomorrow with a Trading Holt on Friday from the statistics would be great.
