WGX should indeed have two headings being mined simultaneously, though Golden Crown has only 2 years of ore (as you point out, I believe it is likely to be stacked towards the front, but... they have not provided a year by year projection, just an average).
You are correct about their development progress ramping up. I think they are very confident about the whole orebody because they were able to hit the same 2 lodes 1.5km down with their deep drilling. Without a doubt, the toys being bought by miners are far more effective at moving dirt.

RMS move on Karora is a bit of a surprise to me at least, as whilst it will more than replace Edna May, it comes with a hefty price tag and zero synergies between it's current assets. I just think MZ at RMS could not look past that he failed to acquire GCY for peanuts when being recapped... twice.
Perhaps RMS will then move on PNRs Norseman to create a 350k p.a consolidated.
I also think that RMS pick up of AOP and BRB was simply a sly way of doing to large capital raisings... with the benefit of picking up some large low grade deposits.

I look forward to seeing whether RMS move to ignore SPR and the many synergies, proves a poor choice.

I also cannot help but wonder, with RMS tied up, that any entities interested in SPR might view this as a window of opportunity.
