Pegmatites are igneous (=having solidified from magma) rocks made up of granitic rock, including quartz, potassium, feldspar, plagioclase, muscovite, biotite. Omnia are saying that fertile granites, (lithium containing) have lower amounts of Potassium (K) and higher amounts of Rubidium (Rb), and so have a lower K/Rb ratio.

K/Rb ratios of 15 are highly likely to contain rare-element pegmatites. K/Rb ratios of 160 or less are indicating increasing fractionation (which I believe is crystallisation from granitic melt). Note there are two types of rare-earth pegmatites that crystallise, NYF (which we are less interested in) and LCT. Obs we want the latter, so further investigation is needed to see what is in the pegmatite with ratios below 160.

I will go through the table and map some of the lower ratio coordinates, but straight up we can see Senay 5 had a K/Rb 111, which warrants further investigation. Remember, it's just at the spot where they took the sample and Senay 5 is huge, so there may be better spots with a lower ratio.

I'm writing to the company suggesting they hire you to write their releases for them. You've managed to succinctly interpret their text that is now understandable to me and -- judging by the number of thumbs-up your post has received -- many others on this board also. I hope you've got the time for this?

I don't know why the author feels the need to spell out random numerals throughout the text but it sure is distracting when you're trying to read and digest it. And what on earth does 'aggressive' field work mean? Do they slap each other before breakfast each day or just make their coffee extra strong.
