I think you're correct in your analysis... however...

Its worth looking at that last graph as part of a sales pitch for pXRF devices. So, it could be expected that sales documents would provide clear and easy to visualise examples. Olympus would want to make potential customers believe that their devices are easy to use and hence superior to any alternative. Resultantly, the sales documentation could be expected to use extremely obvious and clear results as examples... quite possibly the most extremely successful and obvious example that could be found. Possibly an example from a well known and understood deposit like Greenbushes. Maybe the marketing team walked across the floor of that pit in the first photo and took loads of samples to generate the graphs shown. Ultimately, this would bias the sampling towards perfect.

I'll take the OM1 results as pretty darn good. Happy to hold and have a few bids in the market to take advantage of weak hands.
