If the Lachlan Fold is good I believe our land in Kookynie will prove even better.
Many, many years ago an old mate simply used a hand held gold detector and showed me coffee jars full of nuggets all found around Kookynie.
In the 1980s /1990s I held shares in an unlisted company operating around Kookynie that recorded some marvelous drill results. What I was being told in private was confirmed by the mother of my then girlfriend. She worked for a man whose son whose company did the drilling .She was told the drilling results were the best he had encountered in all his experience on the goldfields.
Sadly for me just before this company was to be listed it went belly up. I think mismanagement and shady dealings which were rife in WA in those days killed the goose that laid the golden egg.
Somewhere in the collection of important stuff that I have kept over the decades is the paperwork relating to these results. I will have a look for them. Someone may be interested.
