With Charger next door having identified a large Niobium anomaly on grades of 10 to 21.4ppm, I decided to see recheck what TG6 has reported about Nb grades and see if I could find anything about how high an anomaly it needs to be to start being special. On the TG6 side of reporting, they had 215 soils reported with Nb grades. Of these 218 were 7ppm or higher but only 12 of the reported soils were over 10ppm. One soil was above 15ppm at 35.1ppm (TGSS01789). Because the soils reported were screened for lithium values there may be more unreported 10ppm observations.

How special is 10-35ppm then?
I found this map from Endurance Gold - A Canadian company with a 27m MC and its key focus being gold. In their portfolio they have a Niobium & Tantalum project but the news flow stops in 2013. This looks to be a stalled project but I haven't looked enough to find out why. What this map shows is that Niobium soil anomalies can reach well past 100ppm grades. At that site the bottom 40% was 5-34ppm. With TG6 having reported levels massively below 100ppm and barely getting past the bottom 40% of a stalled project, my guess is that TG6 has slight elevation to background samples but its just noise.

Its best that TG6 remains focused on Lithium.
