Great Australian Resources Ltd (GAU) is pleased to announce that its exploration programs are proceeding and encouraging results are being generated out of its Cambodian projects.
In Cambodia, positive exploration over the Company’s project areas in the last few weeks, include:
• Completed an aeromagnetic program over its project areas;
• Commenced a diamond drilling programme, the samples from which have been sent to geochemical laboratories in Thailand and results are expected in the next 2 weeks;
• Detailed geological field mapping is also about to commence in order to confirm the drilling results and to follow up on the various geophysical work completed to date.
The exploration team is encouraged by the diamond drill samples received to date. Strong quartz and sulphide veins have been intercepted below the surface trenching and is strongly associated with highly altered zones below previously reported results.
Outcrops with strong sulphide contents have been found over the current drill area and samples have been submitted to the laboratories for assaying. The rock chips taken by the Company to date from this area ranges up to 81.6 g/t gold and 2.67% copper.

Results from the diamond drill programme will be available to shareholders over the next two weeks.
Platinum Mining Ventures Limited (PMV), formerly known as Impact Mining, a 50% owned subsidiary company of GAU, is also preparing to carry out drill programs over its Mooiplats Platinum Project in South Africa. A number of high platinum intercepts have been received from past drilling.
PMV intends to commence a drilling program within the next two weeks to follow up on some of the previous high-grade results and extend the current mineralised zone further down dip. Two diamond drill rigs have been sourced for the drilling program. It is the view of the board that the Mooiplats project is a very attractive target that will afford investors long term investment results.
