Hi trev ,that area has been looked at for diamonds but you never know as they are all underground now due to the pindown soil on top ,
the diamond pipes are fairley easy to find olivine rocks in the pipes erode quicker then the surrounding rocks and land and the pipe becomes a swamp in the wet season easy to spot on google earth even in the dry ,

look at the pipes (swamps ) around Ellendale mine about 40 of them and you will see what I mean and you will see how easy they are to spot ,
they go from fitzroy crossing to one arm piont ,the largest diamond pipe field in the world
